Featured Artists

Producer Chuck Girard
Producer & Musician Chuck Girard
Chuck Girard has been a great encouragement taking us through the steps of doing our own professional CD. Chuck not only produced the CD but did some vocals, keyboards, and synthesizer. Chuck also did the lead vocals on "The Sprit and the Bride".

Chuck Girard is one of the first Contemporary Christian Music Artists and former member of the Jesus
Movement's CCM group Love Song. After years of psychedelic drugs and eastern religion, Chuck's search for God ended in 1970 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord. Since then Chuck has recorded many solo albums including his latest, "Evening Shadows". Besides making music Chuck is still on tour throughout the year. You can read more on Chuck and check out his new CD by going to:

Guitarist Phil Keaggy
Phil Keaggy - GuitaristPhil Keaggy plays electric guitar on Street Songs including the awesome guitar solo in "Call Upon". It has been a privilege to have such a renowned musician as Phil Keaggy play with us.

Phil Keaggy is perhaps one of the most admired guitarists in music today.  His fans range from those who aspire just to be able to play Keaggy’s mistakes, to professional musicians who have been strongly influenced by his style.  And in between are those who don’t play guitar, yet find solace in his beautifully penned lyrics and memorable melodies.

Phil’s solo career has spanned more than 30 years, and has included over 50 solo albums, both vocal and instrumental, as well as 8 releases with his band, Glass Harp.  One of the most sought after studio guitarists, Phil also continues to sell out concerts all over the United States, with his ever-changing style, ranging from rock-and-roll to fully orchestrated instrumental compositions. Bassist Mark Childers
Mark Childers - BassistMark Childers plays the bass for "Street Songs".

Mike and Mark Childers have performed on stage with many renowned artists such as Carrie Underwood, Nichole Nordeman, Little Big Town, ZOEGirl and many more.

I was watching "The Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack" on TV one Friday night when I was 8 years old. My brother showed me who the bass player was for this certain band that was playing. The band happened to be called "The Band" and from there on I wanted to play bass. I naturally heard bass quicker than any other instrument even though the guitarist were soloing and drummers were being flashy. The bass fit me perfect. - Mark Childers

Drummer Mike Childers
Mike Childers - Drums & PercussionMike Childers plays drums & percussion on "Street Songs". He mixed the CD too.
"TimeKeyper Music" was formed in 1996 by Mike Childers.   After many years in the Christian music industry, Mike decided to put together "TimeKeyper Music" - a company that could create custom recordings for a great price. Vocals - Alisa Childers
Alisa Childers - VocalistAlisa Childers sings vocals on "Street Songs"; notably with Chuck Girard (her dad) on the final song, "The Spirit and the Bride".

After four studio releases, a string of top ten radio singles, and a seven-year run with the Dove Award winning Christian music group ZOEgirl, Alisa Childers is finding her own voice. "For years I have had a dream to share the songs I've written in a more intimate and personal setting," said Childers, "It has become clear to me that the time has come for me to set out on my own, and share what's in my heart and head." As a member of ZOEgirl, Alisa was able to carve a comfortable niche for herself as a respected songwriter. Penning hits like "I Believe", a joyful, uplifting track that soon became the group's anthem, "Unchangeable", and the powerful "Scream" which climbed its way up the charts in 2005...

Tim Moon
Tim Moon - Hippie at Large
If I could ever get Tim out of a tie-dyed shirt, I would get him this one I seen one time that had a picture of a whale on it with the caption, "Gentle Giant". Tim Moon truly is a gentle spirited man with a big heart for the lost, hurting people of our world. One of the things that thrills me about writing this little review is that Tim would never say these things about himself. Many times out on the streets I have seen people come up and want to handle his guitar (semi expensive). Maybe they know what they are doing and maybe not, but Tim lets them play it a little and encourages them where they are at. The "what's mine is yours" attitude that Tim has is considered by most, well, just plain crazy. One time his van was unlocked during an outreach and he went to get something from it and found a guy sleeping it off inside his van. Tim just quietly got what he needed and left the guy there. Tim's response was, "he may not have a great place to sleep on the street, so it may be the most comfortable place he has had in awhile". I was a hungry and you feed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was sick and you visited me, I was a stranger and you took me in. Uhm, sounds like living faith.

Barry McGuireBarry McGuire

"The Eastern world, it is it explodin'..." Tell me who has not heard those lyrics that start Barry's signature song, "Eve of Destruction". Barry has done a lot more in music and life than that song. Although like an actor that is typecast in a certain role, Barry still will play that for his audience. A couple of my favorites, "Calling Me" and "The Communion Song" are classics that Barry did after becoming a Christian.

For nearly 5 decades Barry has shared his unique style of folk and gospel music blended with insightful and heartwarming stories. This site is dedicated to reflecting the past, connecting you with the present and anticipating the future of one man's journey.
